Add Co-instructors to Your Classroom

In LTI integrated classrooms co-instructors and teaching assistants can click the “external tool” link/assignment in the LMS course shell. When they click the link, an account with the correct permission level will be created for them automatically.

If you're not using the LTI integration, you can add co-instructors to your classroom by following these steps:

1. Click the "Class Members" tab in the classroom.
2. Click "Invite" in the top left corner to open the invitation dialog.
3. Enter the email address of the co-instructor you would like to add. Assign them the role of "Co-instructor".
4. Click "Invite" to create the invitation and close the dialog. They can also view their invitations by visiting the Classrooms page. You can optionally choose to send invitation emails from the classroom "Class Members" tab. Invitation emails can sent individually from the "Invitations" panel or to all invited members by clicking the "Invite" button.
